Over the weekend, Carly flew to Sanya, a tourist city in the Hainan province of China, accompanied by her tour manager, Tony Marino and assistant, Jenna Lightner. She teased us with some photos and Instagram stories of her trip but did not disclose the reason she was there. With details being so scarce, many fans were left wondering if she was there for business or pleasure and if it was related to the Grammy Beijing event at the end of the month.
Through some digging, we now know that Carly was there to perform at a promotional event for Audi, specifically for the launch of the Audi A8L. From what we could tell, it was a high-tech visual affair with dynamic-floating LEDs and projections all around the venue and stage which was meant to showcase the advanced lighting aspects of their new model car. There was very little media that we could find of Carly at the event, but here’s what we could find:
