You can add Lil Yachty and Carly Rae Jepsen to the Grammy Awards’ list of all-star collaborations. Though this one isn’t happening at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, it’s going down in a Target.
The retail giant has paired the duo with producer Mike WiLL Made-It, director Roman Coppola and choreographer Mandy Moore of La La Land fame for what promises to be an epic three minute commercial spot that will air during the Grammy Awards. In it, they will reinvent the Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock classic “It Takes Two” with amidst a full on spectacle that’s basically everything you wish your trips to the department store were. -Colin Stutz
